At Verd, we believe in the power of plant-based living.


We believe that what we eat directly affects our health and our environment.

We want to inspire the way the world eats by serving fresh, delicious, healthy, made-from-scratch cuisine which, just happens to be 100% plant-based.


From scratch cooking

At Verd our food is made fresh daily. We slice, dice, season and bake EVERY day.

We are particularly proud of our nut mylks, dressings and tempeh bacon which we make in-store.

When you eat at Verd you know you are eating the freshest, best tasting, most nutrient-packed food possible.


Not only is our packaging recyclable but where we can we also compost all our food ensuring our footprint on the environment is as small as possible.


We have cafes in Surry Hills, Barangaroo (Sydney CBD) and Manly (opening April 2018) and we deliver in and around these areas too.  If you are in a hurry or like to plan ahead for lunch you can also order on our app or online.

We believe that whether you are eating out or getting home delivery, you should be able to expect this food to be fresh, healthy and delicious. We are delighted to be providing this.

Locally Sourced

Our food is made from local (where possible), non-gmo, vegan ingredients.

We love knowing Lena who sprouts our azuki beans.  . There’s the team at the Vegan Dairy who craft the most amazing vegan feta!  And of course our Tofu guy, who delivers the best Tofu in town!

When you take a bite of our salads or a slurp of our smoothies, you can taste the passion, the detail and the quality which has gone into each and every ingredient.
